Djenovici

Djenovici is a small picturesque village on the cost of the world renowned Bay of Kotor, Montenegro. Most of the year it is a sleepy coastal village which awakens during the summer season to welcome its guests who come to enjoy its Mediterranean climate and tranquility, hospitality of its inhabitants, and to submerge in the miscellaneous aroma of pomgranades, oranges, olive and pine trees that grow in its gardens.
It is perfectly placed in the Unesco World Heritage, Bay of Kotor, at Herceg- Novi Riviera, some 8 km from the charming town of Herceg- Novi and about 45 km from striking Unesco World Heritage Bay of Kotor and amazing old town of Kotor.
During the season it is well connected to mayor European destinations through Tivat – 16km, Podgorica – 105 km and Dubrovnik (Croatia) – 35 km, airports as well as by road to Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia and Albania.
Residents of Djenovice welcome its guest with exceptional hospitality and scores of delights. You can try local and international cuisine in many of its restaurants or immerse yourself in local atmosphere at its many cafes. Or just chose one of its beaches and simply let go and enjoy.
Its climate is typically Mediterranean with hot summers and mild winters, which makes it the perfect place to visit at any time of the year. It is arguably one of the sunniest regions of Europe with over 200 sunny days per year. The high season is in Jully and August but excellent time to visit is May-June and September- November, as well; a period with plenty of sunshine and average water temperatures over 20°C, with good prices and few other visitors.
We hope this tickled your interest in Montenegro and Djenovici and we are looking forward for your visit!!!

Herceg- Novi

Located at the entrance to the spectacular Bay of Kotor and at the foot of Mount Orjen, Herceg- Novi is a one of the jewels of Montenegrin tourism. Beneath the uninspiring main road hides Old Town of Herceg- Novi, with its remarkable forts and charming sunny squares hiding numerous lovely cafes and restaurants.
One of the newer towns of the area – only 630 years old; “Novi” - means “New”; was founded in the 14th century by Bosnian medieval lords, from whose aristocratic title – “Herceg”, comes the first part of its name.
Bosnian lords held it for 100 years, only to lose it to the Ottomans, who surrounded it to the Venetians, to be followed by a procession of different rulers - Austrians, Spanish, French, Russians, Montenegrins, Austro- Hungarians, Serbs, Germans, Italians. All of whom put their own flavor to the architecture, culture and character of the town and its inhabitants.
Today Herceg- Novi manly lives from tourism. And it has much to offer. No matter if you are interested in history, hiking, cycling, alpinism, swimming, sailing, diving, you name it – you can do it in Herceg- Novi. No one should miss its Old Town (Stari grad) and 5 plus kilometers promenade Šetalište Pet Danica. Making a day boat trip to Rose, Zanjice, Blue cave and island of Mamula are a must!
If one happens to be in town in time of its festivals – Suncane skale music festival, Film festival, HAPS – April’s theatre festival or Mimosa festival – do not miss to visit at least one of its events.
Its climate is typically Mediterranean with hot summers and mild winters, so, it is always a good time to visit. It is arguably one of the sunniest towns of Europe with over 200 sunny days per year.
